(NYSE: OPTU), operates as one of the largest broadband communications and video services providers in the United States, delivering high-speed internet, video, telephony, mobile, proprietary content, and advertising services to approximately 4.4 million residential and business customers across 21 states including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, North Carolina, and others in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and South. The company offers core products under the Optimum brand, including Optimum Online broadband via hybrid fiber-coaxial (HFC) and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) networks with speeds up to 8 Gbps symmetrical; Optimum TV digital cable video services with new tiered offerings; Optimum Voice VoIP telephony; Altice Mobile wireless services over 4G LTE; and business solutions through Altice Business (formerly Lightpath) encompassing Ethernet data transport, IP VPNs, SIP trunking, managed WiFi, and fiber-to-the-tower services for SMBs and enterprises. Additional services include News 12 Networks for hyperlocal news in the tri-state area, Optimum Media for audience-based multiscreen advertising, and access to Optimum WiFi hotspots plus partner networks from Charter Spectrum, Comcast, and Cox. Founded in 2016 following Altice NV's acquisitions of Cablevision and Suddenlink Communications and headquartered in Long Island City, New York, the company serves residential, SMB, and enterprise customers with over 3 million FTTH passings and targets 175,000 total new passings in fiscal 2025, primarily fiber builds. Recent developments include reaching 703,000 fiber customers and 584,000 mobile lines in Q3 2025; launching multi-gig HFC speeds with mid-split upgrades; securing additional Lightpath hyperscaler contracts; completing a landmark $1.0 billion asset-backed loan in July 2025 secured by Bronx and Brooklyn receivables maturing in 2031; adding 58,000 video customers to new tiers; and announcing a corporate name change to Optimum Communications effective November 7, 2025, with ticker switch to OPTU on November 19.
