Bombardier Inc. designs, manufactures, modifies and maintains high-performance business aircraft for corporate, government and private clients worldwide; its core offerings encompass the Learjet family of light business jets, the Challenger series including the Challenger 3500 and Challenger 650 models noted for advanced cabin design and short-field performance, and the Global lineup featuring the Global 5500, 6500, 7500 and the forthcoming Global 8000 ultra-long-range jet positioned as the fastest civil aircraft since Concorde; the company also provides comprehensive aftermarket services such as parts distribution, maintenance through a global network of 10 service centers across six countries, smart services with predictive maintenance, technical training and publications. Founded in 1942 and headquartered in Dorval, Quebec, Canada, Bombardier operates manufacturing, assembly and engineering facilities in Canada, the United States and Mexico, serving multinational corporations, charter operators, fractional ownership providers and militaries from aerostructure production sites to final completion centers. In June 2025, Bombardier secured a landmark US$1.7 billion firm order from BOND for 50 Challenger and Global aircraft with deliveries starting in 2027, accompanied by a pioneering long-term integrated service agreement and 70 purchase options that could elevate the total value beyond US$4 billion; recent initiatives include an exclusive collaboration with ELIE SAAB for bespoke Global 8000 interiors and exploration of defense sector mergers and acquisitions amid rising global military spending.
