(NYSE: BEKE; HKEX: 2423) operates as an integrated online and offline platform for housing transactions and services in China through its subsidiaries Beike and Lianjia; it provides existing home transaction services including agency services for sales and leases, platform and franchise services to brokerage firms; new home transaction services to real estate developers; home renovation and furnishing solutions encompassing interior design, remodeling, furnishing supplies, and after-sales maintenance; home rental services; and emerging services such as rental property management, real estate financial solutions including escrow and secure payments, and other operations. The company, founded in 2001 through its predecessor Beijing Lianjia Real Estate Brokerage Co., Ltd. and incorporated as a holding company in 2018, is headquartered in Beijing and primarily serves residential customers across China via self-operated Lianjia branded stores, connected third-party agencies under the Deyou franchise brand, and the Beike online marketplace. In 2022, KE Holdings Inc. expanded into home renovation by acquiring Shengdu Home Decoration; during 2024 it acquired a local real estate agency; and in August 2025 upsized and extended its share repurchase program to US$5 billion through August 2028 after repurchasing US$2.18 billion in shares.
