Business
ARF Bio Yenilenebilir Enerji Uretim AS is a Turkey-based renewable energy and agricultural biotechnology company specializing in circular economy solutions, biomass power generation, and sustainable fertilizer manufacturing. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Ankara, Turkey, the company operates an integrated waste-to-energy complex in Odemis, Izmir, which converts livestock manure and agricultural organic waste into electricity, thermal energy, and organic soil amendment products. The company operates primarily through two interconnected business segments: Renewable Energy Generation and Sustainable Fertilizer Production. Its core product and service offerings comprise: renewable electricity generated via anaerobic digestion at its 4.8 MW Odemis Biogas Power Plant under a 49-year operating license valid through 2067; auxiliary electricity derived from integrated hybrid solar photovoltaic (PV) installations; certified voluntary carbon emission reduction credits and green energy attributes; solid organic fertilizers commercialized under the ARF Bio Plus brand; liquid organomineral fertilizers formulated under the ARF FERBIOS brand; multi-nutrient solid organomineral fertilizers, including ARF BIO 8-21-0 and ARF BIO 11-11-11 formulations; classical mineral fertilizers, including ARF Urea 46% N and Diammonium Phosphate (DAP 18-46-0); and organic agricultural waste treatment, digestate recycling, and soil conditioning services supplied to agricultural enterprises, farming cooperatives, and commercial distributors throughout Turkey. In recent strategic developments, ARF Bio Yenilenebilir Enerji Uretim AS completed its initial public offering on Borsa Istanbul under the ticker symbol ARFYE, issuing 47 million shares to fund facility expansions and working capital requirements. Supported by institutional shareholder Re-Pie Portfolio Management through the Re-Pie ARF Venture Capital Investment Fund, the company expanded operational capacity at its Odemis industrial complex by fully commissioning dedicated solid and liquid organomineral fertilizer processing lines. Furthermore, ARF Bio Yenilenebilir Enerji Uretim AS has advanced its hybrid renewable energy model by installing solar PV capacity alongside its baseload biogas operations and scaling commercial distribution channels for its specialty crop-nutrition products and voluntary carbon offsets.
