(NASDAQ: BKNG) is the world's leading provider of online travel and related services to consumers and local partners in more than 220 countries and territories through its primary consumer-facing brands including Booking.com, Priceline, Agoda, KAYAK, OpenTable and Rentalcars.com; Booking.com offers extensive accommodation reservations encompassing hotels, homes, apartments, resorts, bed and breakfasts, hostels and 3.5 million alternative accommodations across more than 220 countries in over 40 languages; Priceline provides discount travel services such as opaque bookings, flights, rental cars, vacation packages, cruises and activities primarily targeting US leisure travelers; Agoda focuses on accommodations, flights, ground transportation and activities with a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region; KAYAK delivers meta-search tools for comparing flights, hotels and rental cars from multiple online travel agencies; OpenTable enables online restaurant reservations and provides management software to restaurants; Rentalcars.com aggregates global car rental options. The company also operates subsidiary brands such as Rocketmiles, Fareharbor, HotelsCombined, Cheapflights and Momondo to enhance value for customers and partners. Founded in 1997 as Priceline.com by Jay S. Walker in Stamford, Connecticut, and headquartered at 800 Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut, Booking Holdings employs a diverse workforce representing numerous nationalities across offices in Europe, North America, South America, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, with significant operations in Dublin, Ireland, and Bucharest, Romania. In June 2025, Booking Holdings extended its commercial partnership with Etraveli Group for eight years to bolster flight offerings following a failed 2023 acquisition attempt blocked by EU regulators, supporting a 45% year-over-year increase in airline tickets booked in Q1 2025; the company invests aggressively in AI initiatives targeting up to $450 million in annual savings by 2027; recent financials show adjusted EBITDA exceeding $8 billion, up 17% year-over-year, net income of $172.69 per diluted share, up 47%, and gross bookings growth of 10% amid a strategic focus on connected trip experiences integrating accommodations, flights, transport and dining.
