Business
Blue Jet Healthcare Limited manufactures pharmaceutical intermediates and active pharmaceutical ingredients for pharmaceutical and healthcare products, with a focus on contrast media intermediates, high-intensity sweeteners including saccharin and its salts, niche pharmaceutical intermediates and APIs targeting anti-infectives, central nervous system, cardiovascular and gastrointestinal treatments, as well as contract development and manufacturing organization services, high-purity solvents, laboratory chemicals and quality assurance testing; the company serves global customers in diagnostic imaging, drug formulation and research across India, Norway, France, the United States, Italy, Sweden, Spain and other international markets. Incorporated in 1968 as Jet Chemicals Private Limited and headquartered in Thane, India, it pioneered saccharin production in India and has expanded through multiple manufacturing facilities including recent sites in Ambernath and commissioning of an advanced contrast media production block in December 2024. In July 2025, its board approved acquisition of 102.48 acres of industrial land in Anakapalli District, Andhra Pradesh, from the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation for a new greenfield manufacturing facility to support long-term capacity expansion aligned with demand in key therapeutic areas.
