Business
Battery Mineral Resources Corp. is a Canada-based multi-commodity battery-materials and energy-infrastructure company focused on copper production, mineral exploration and specialized equipment for renewable and conventional energy projects. The Company operates the Punitaqui Mining Complex in Chile’s Coquimbo Region, a historic underground copper, gold and silver mining operation that produces copper concentrate and includes mine, processing plant and underground-development activities; holds North American mineral exploration assets; and owns 100% of ESI Energy Services Inc., which operates under the Ozzie’s, Inc. brand from Phoenix, Arizona. Through ESI, Battery Mineral Resources designs and manufactures specialized energy-sector equipment and provides equipment sales, rental/leasing and manufacturing solutions for utility-scale solar, wind, oil and gas, battery-storage, data-center and utility-infrastructure projects, including equipment supporting construction, material handling and related field operations. ESI is advancing its Universal Carrier, formerly the Omni Crawler, a modular tracked-vehicle platform designed to support interchangeable proprietary and third-party attachments, precision navigation and potential autonomous operation for solar and broader energy-construction applications. Battery Mineral Resources was founded in 2018 and is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Recent developments include the completion in May 2026 of a C$2.76 million LIFE private placement to fund Punitaqui processing-plant operations, underground development and working capital; the commencement of field testing for ESI’s Universal Carrier platform in June 2026, with a production-model unveiling targeted for the RE+ 2026 conference; and the July 2026 completion by ESI of a senior secured financing arrangement with JPMorgan Chase Bank comprising a US$6.0 million four-year term loan, a US$1.0 million revolving credit facility and a proposed additional equipment-financing facility of up to US$5.0 million.
