The institution organizes its operations across four key divisions: Canadian Banking, International Banking, Global Wealth Management, and Global Banking and Markets. It provides financial guidance and everyday banking solutions to individuals, encompassing debit and credit cards, chequing and savings accounts, investment products, mortgages, various loans, and insurance offerings. For commercial clients, the bank extends business banking facilities such as lending, deposit management, cash flow solutions, and trade financing, serving small, mid-sized, and large enterprises, including specialized automotive dealer financing. Scotiabank also offers extensive wealth management insights and services, including online and full-service brokerage, mobile investment platforms, trust solutions, private banking, and private investment counsel, alongside retail and institutional funds like mutual funds and exchange-traded funds. Additionally, it delivers international banking capabilities for retail, corporate, and commercial clientele, along with corporate lending, transaction services, investment banking advisory, and capital markets access for institutional clients. The bank supports its customers through online, mobile, and telephone channels. With assets of approximately $1.4 trillion as of July 31, 2025, Scotiabank is actively pursuing a strategy focused on growing and scaling its priority businesses within the North American corridor. The Bank of Nova Scotia was established in 1832 and maintains its headquarters in Toronto, Canada.
