In recent developments, Barloworld pursues a R23 billion management buyout by a consortium led by Gulf Falcon Holding, a Zahid Group subsidiary, and Entsha with South African Competition Tribunal approval in August 2025 subject to conditions including black economic empowerment structures and delisting, following a firm intention announcement in December 2024 and standby offer triggered in February 2025 with acceptance deadline extended to June 2025; the group reports interim results for the six months ended March 2025 highlighting resilience amid portfolio simplification and strong Mongolia performance.
