Gayatri Sugars Limited manufactures sugar and allied products including distillery outputs and cogenerates power from bagasse in India. Incorporated on June 15, 1995 and headquartered in Hyderabad, Telangana, the company produces high-quality commercial white sugar in two grades, S30 and M30, via a double sulphuration process from sugarcane; distillery products such as rectified spirit, extra neutral alcohol (ENA), ethanol (with upgrades in 2015-16 to produce ethanol from ENA and direct production from cane syrup during the 2020-21 crushing season), and impure spirit; by-products including molasses, bagasse, filter cake, and press mud; hand sanitizers launched during the COVID-19 pandemic in formulations with 83.33% ethanol available in 500ml, 1000ml, and 5000ml sizes; and green power through a co-generation unit using bagasse as fuel. Operations span two units in Kamareddy District, Telangana, at Adloor Yellareddy Village and Maagi Village, Nizamsagar Mandal, serving domestic markets with a focus on sugar, distillery, and power segments amid India's ethanol blending targets advancing to 20% by 2025-26. Recent developments include diversion of sugar for ethanol production per oil marketing companies' allocations for November 2023-April 2024 totaling over 157 crore liters from sugarcane juice and B-heavy molasses; re-appointment of Managing Director Mrs. T. Sarita Reddy effective May 1, 2025 for three years; appointment of new Independent Director Mr. C.V. Rayudu effective August 7, 2024; and re-appointment of Independent Director Mr. P.V. Narayana Rao for a second five-year term from February 11, 2025.
