The company primarily caters to textile manufacturing plants, yarn spinning units, packaging processors, and wholesale trade partners across India, with core operations centered in the western region of Gujarat. In recent strategic developments, the company executed a comprehensive corporate rebranding, formally changing its name from Hi-Tech Winding Systems Limited to Gujarat Winding Systems Limited following shareholder approval in late 2024. Concurrently, the company adopted major amendments to its Memorandum of Association to execute a broad multi-sector business diversification, expanding its operational mandate into the trade and processing of textiles, garments, gems and jewellery, agro-products, pharmaceuticals, specialty chemicals, and mining.
