Business
Indo Farm Equipment Ltd. manufactures and sells agricultural tractors, pick-and-carry cranes, engines, diesel gensets, harvester combines, rotavators, and related implements under the Indo Farm and Indo Power brands; it also provides tractor financing through its NBFC subsidiary, Barota Finance Ltd. The company offers tractors in the 20-110 HP range, hydraulic pick-and-carry cranes with capacities from 9 to 30 tons, mobile tower cranes, and other farm equipment including rotary tillers. Incorporated in 1994 and headquartered in Baddi, District Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India, Indo Farm operates a fully integrated manufacturing facility spanning 34 acres with in-house foundry, machine shop, and assembly units, supporting an installed capacity of up to 18,000 tractors, 2,400 cranes, and 20,000 engines annually; it serves domestic markets pan-India through six regional offices and a network of 173 dealers while exporting to Africa, Latin America, the Gulf, Central Asia, and South Asia. In late 2024 and early 2025, Indo Farm launched an initial public offering raising approximately ₹260 crore through a fresh issue of ₹185 crore and an offer for sale, with proceeds allocated to expand pick-and-carry crane manufacturing capacity by 3,600 units annually via a new dedicated facility, repay borrowings, augment the capital base of Barota Finance Ltd., and general corporate purposes including debt reduction and branding initiatives. The company has since reduced debt levels and reported 31% year-over-year revenue growth to ₹91.25 crore in a recent quarter, alongside expansions in crane capacity toward 5,000 units. Recent promoter group shareholding increases in November 2025, including acquisitions by Shubham Khadwalia and Diksha Khadwalia totaling over 70,000 shares, elevated promoter stake to approximately 69.77%, signaling strengthened control amid operational enhancements.
