(NYSE: CAG) manufactures and markets a broad portfolio of branded, private label, and value-added consumer packaged food products, with primary operations in grocery & snacks, refrigerated & frozen, international, and foodservice segments; core offerings include frozen meals and pot pies such as Marie Callender's, Healthy Choice, and Banquet; snacks including Slim Jim, Orville Redenbacher's popcorn, and Angie's Boomchicka Pop; condiments and sauces like Hunt's, P.F. Chang's Home Menu, and Bertolli ready meals; shelf-stable items encompassing Reddi-wip, Egg Beaters, Pam cooking spray, Hebrew National hot dogs, and formerly Chef Boyardee; plus additional categories such as cooking oils, hot cocoa, peanut butter, and Birds Eye frozen vegetables. Founded in 1919 as Nebraska Consolidated Mills in Grand Island, Nebraska, the company is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, and conducts manufacturing across 38 U.S. facilities, serving retail supermarkets, restaurants, institutions, and foodservice outlets primarily in North America with international presence. Recent strategic changes encompass the May 2025 divestiture of the Chef Boyardee brand to Hometown Food Company for $600 million to sharpen focus on growth-oriented frozen and snacking segments while reducing debt; the June 2025 sale of Mrs. Paul’s and Van de Kamp’s seafood brands to High Liner Foods to streamline core frozen offerings; a planned $450 million capital expenditure in fiscal 2026 for supply chain enhancements, including chicken processing capacity expansions to meet demand for Banquet Mega Chicken Filets and frozen vegetable stabilization; and a $29.1 million Macon, Missouri facility upgrade creating 26 jobs for improved production and sustainability.
