- Canadian Gold Resources Ltd. is a Canadian gold exploration and development company focused on the acquisition, exploration and advancement of high-grade, historically explored gold properties in the Gaspé Gold Belt of Québec, Canada. The Company’s principal activities comprise geological prospecting; geological mapping; soil geochemistry; diamond drilling; outcrop sampling; geophysical surveys; bulk-sample planning and extraction; metallurgical and processing evaluation; and the development of exploration targets for potential resource delineation and future mine development. Canadian Gold Resources holds a 100% interest in three exploration-stage projects—Lac Arsenault, Robidoux and VG Boulder—situated along the Grand Pabos Fault system in Québec’s Gaspé Peninsula. Its flagship Lac Arsenault project includes high-grade polymetallic gold mineralization associated with gold, silver, lead and zinc and is being advanced through diamond drilling, assay interpretation, permitting, logistical planning and a proposed 5,000-tonne bulk-sample program. The Robidoux project is being advanced through reconnaissance work, soil geochemistry and planned diamond drilling to evaluate historically identified gold occurrences and high-grade zones. The VG Boulder project is being evaluated through prospecting, mapping, soil geochemistry and potential follow-up drilling, with exploration directed toward gold, precious-metal and antimony mineralization. The Company targets underexplored and historically worked properties with potential for high-grade gold discoveries, principally serving the mineral-exploration and precious-metals-development sector. Canadian Gold Resources is headquartered in Dieppe, New Brunswick, Canada, and its common shares trade on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol CAN. The Company commenced trading under its current name and ticker in December 2024 following its renaming from Amseco Exploration Ltd. Recent developments include the implementation of a 2026 exploration program across all three Québec properties; the planned expansion of diamond drilling at Lac Arsenault and initiation of drilling at Robidoux, subject to permits; continued preparations for the Lac Arsenault bulk sample; the appointment of Kenneth Chernin as interim president and chief executive officer in May 2026, with founder Ronald J. Goguen Sr. continuing as chairman; the appointment of a chief geologist and additional technical personnel to strengthen geological oversight; the adoption of semi-annual financial reporting under the applicable Canadian venture-issuer exemption; the closing of a non-brokered flow-through private placement in July 2026; the cancellation of a previously announced listed issuer financing exemption offering; and the September 2026 staking of 195 additional mineral claims, increasing the Company’s Québec Gaspé land position by approximately 72% along the Garin River Fault.
