- Eastport Critical Metals Corp. is a Canadian critical minerals development company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of mineral properties in Botswana, with a focus on copper, nickel, cobalt, uranium, rare earth elements and platinum group elements. The Company’s portfolio has accumulated historical and current expenditures approaching CAD20 million and serves prospective supply chains for electrification, renewable energy, energy storage, advanced manufacturing and nuclear power markets. Eastport is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, and conducts its project operations in Botswana. The Company completed its qualifying transaction with Penbar Capital Ltd. and commenced trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the EVI symbol in November 2025; it subsequently changed its name from Penbar Capital Ltd. to Eastport Critical Metals Corp. in December 2025. Recent developments include the completion of a CAD2.0 million non-brokered private placement led by Commodity Capital AG in February 2026 to fund Botswana exploration and working capital; completion of Phase I drilling at the Nakalakwana Hill target within Matsitama; the launch of Phase II geochemical and geophysical work at Selebi East following completion of environmental approvals; the appointment of Dr. Robert Bowell as Technical Manager effective September 1, 2026; and the reporting of initial Semarule diamond-drill results in September 2026, including 47.5 metres grading 0.64% total rare earth oxides from 20 metres within a 330-metre interval grading 0.21% total rare earth oxides.
