Business
C4 Therapeutics, Inc. (Nasdaq: CCCC) is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on targeted protein degradation to develop novel small-molecule medicines that harness the body's natural protein recycling system to eliminate disease-causing proteins. Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Watertown, Massachusetts, the company leverages its proprietary TORPEDO platform to design degrader therapies, including proteolysis-targeting chimeras (PROTACs), degradable molecular glues, and degrader-antibody conjugates, primarily targeting oncology indications such as multiple myeloma, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, BRAF V600X-mutated solid tumors including melanoma and colorectal cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer with EGFR L858R mutations. Its pipeline features lead candidates cemsidomide, an oral IKZF1/3 degrader for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma; CFT1946, a BRAF V600X degrader for solid tumors; and CFT8919, an EGFR L858R degrader licensed to Betta Pharmaceuticals for development in Greater China; alongside earlier-stage programs and discovery efforts in autoimmune diseases through partnerships. Recent developments include pricing a $125 million underwritten offering in October 2025 led by RA Capital Management to fund registrational Phase 2 and Phase 1b trials of cemsidomide, including a clinical trial collaboration with Pfizer for combination with elranatamab in multiple myeloma, with potential additional $225 million from warrants; announcing 2025 milestones such as cemsidomide data presentations, CFT1946 expansion cohorts, and CFT8919 dose escalation results; progress in Biogen collaboration with an IRAK4 degrader advancing to clinic; and discontinuation of certain wholly-owned pipeline elements like the BRAF program to prioritize cemsidomide amid a cash position of $267.3 million as of December 31, 2024, extending runway into 2027.
