(NYSE:CCK) manufactures and sells metal packaging products worldwide, operating through Americas Beverage, European Beverage, Asia Pacific, Transit Packaging, and Other segments. The company produces recyclable aluminum beverage cans and ends, glass bottles, steel crowns, aluminum caps and closures; non-beverage cans, food cans, aerosol cans, and specialty packaging for sectors including beverages, pet food, personal care, household, and industrial products; and transit packaging solutions such as strapping equipment and tools, protective products including airbags and edge protectors, and steel/plastic consumables. Founded in 1892 and headquartered in Tampa, Florida, Crown Holdings maintains 189 manufacturing plants and sales facilities across 39 countries, serving diverse markets with a focus on sustainability and innovation, where aluminum beverage cans represent over 60% of its business. Crown Holdings recently expands production capacity through strategic investments, including the addition of a third high-speed line at its Ponta Grossa, Brazil, beverage can plant to boost annual output from 2.4 billion to 3.6 billion cans by Q3 2026 in response to rising demand for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The company announces executive leadership changes, such as appointing Gary Gavin as President of the Americas Division and transitions in Asia Pacific leadership effective in 2025. It also receives SBTi validation for its new net-zero emissions target, releases its 2024 "Built To Last" sustainability report, and completes a cash tender offer for debt securities alongside issuing new senior notes to optimize its capital structure.
