Business
Chemtrade Logistics Income Fund (CGIFF) operates as a diversified chemical services and specialty chemicals enterprise, providing critical feedstocks, processing, and by‑product management to a broad base of industrial customers. The Fund focuses on two primary segments: Sulphur and Water Chemicals (SWC), which include caustic soda, chlorine, hydrochloric acid, phosphorus pentasulfide, sodium nitrite, sodium chlorate and related chlor-alkali and related by‑product processing services; and Electrochemicals (EC), delivering specialty chemical products and associated processing capabilities for high‑purity and high‑value applications. Its product slate comprises chlorine and caustic soda production, chlor-alkali derivatives, phosphorus-containing compounds, and selective inorganic chemicals used across industries such as chemicals, pulp and paper, semiconductors, metals, food and beverage, textiles, poultry, agriculture, water treatment, batteries, oil and gas, and mining. Chemtrade generates revenue through the sale of these products, custom processing of waste streams and by‑products, industrial services, and related technical support, fueling multi‑national customer relationships spanning North America, Europe, and other regions where its facilities operate. The Fund was incorporated in 2001 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada, with a network of facilities and subsidiaries that support its integrated offering. Its geographic footprint, structure, and customer focus enable end‑to‑end supply chain solutions for industrial and process chemical needs, including feedstock supply, chemical manufacturing, waste and by‑product processing, and related industrial services. The company maintains strategic partnerships and channel collaborations to expand its processing capabilities and product coverage, while continuously refining its capital structure and distribution strategy to support growth initiatives and maintain a balanced balance sheet. Through its diversified product lines and service offerings, Chemtrade serves a wide range of customers in energy, manufacturing, infrastructure, and specialty chemical sectors, delivering reliable supply, technical expertise, and value‑added processing across its global operations.
