Cincinnati Financial Corporation (Nasdaq: CINF), founded in 1950 and headquartered in Fairfield, Ohio, provides property casualty and life insurance products and services through its subsidiaries, including The Cincinnati Insurance Company, The Cincinnati Indemnity Company, The Cincinnati Casualty Company, and The Cincinnati Life Insurance Company; it operates primarily through independent agents across the United States with additional international capabilities via Cincinnati Global Underwriting Ltd. in London. The company markets commercial lines insurance covering casualty, property, auto, workers' compensation, contract and commercial surety bonds, fidelity bonds, management liability, and machinery and equipment; personal lines insurance including homeowner, auto, dwelling fire, inland marine, personal umbrella liability, and watercraft coverages through its Cincinnati Private Client offering for high net worth clients; excess and surplus lines insurance for non-standard business risks such as miscellaneous errors and omissions, professional liability, and excess liability; and life insurance products comprising term life, universal life, whole life, worksite products, and annuities; it also engages in investments in fixed-maturity securities, equities, and asset management services through CinFin Capital Management Company, alongside leasing and financing support via CFC Investment Company. In 2025, the company reported record book value per share of $91.46 at June 30 and consolidated cash and investments exceeding $30 billion, reflecting strong investment performance with an 18% rise in pretax investment income; it launched a fifth excess and surplus product brokered through CSU Producer Resources Inc. with Cincinnati Global Underwriting Ltd. support in May, contributing to 24% growth in second-quarter E&S new business premiums; enhanced its property catastrophe reinsurance treaty effective July 1 by adding a $300 million layer to increase total limit to $1.8 billion while retaining 57.2% of losses between $1.5 billion and $1.8 billion; terminated a $300 million credit line and entered a new $400 million unsecured revolving credit agreement in October; and appointed 258 new agencies in the first half of the year, boosting new business production.
