- Chilean Metals Inc. engages in the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of mineral properties prospective for gold, silver, copper, lead, zinc and iron mineralization in Canada and Chile. The Company’s principal assets comprise the 100%-owned Golden Ivan property near Terrace in British Columbia’s Golden Triangle, consisting of 13 mineral claims covering approximately 797 hectares and hosting polymetallic vein showings, including silver, lead, zinc, gold and copper mineralization, as well as a portion of the historical Silverado Mine; and exploration interests in the Chilean projects of Tierra de Oro, Palo Negro, Zulema, Hornitos and Tabaco, encompassing approximately 11,177 hectares in prospective districts of the American Cordillera. Its Chilean portfolio is centered in the Atacama Region’s iron-oxide-copper-gold belt and includes the Palo Negro property, targeting copper, gold, silver and iron mineralization; the Tierra de Oro property, where the Company targets stratabound copper-silver and potential porphyry copper systems through drilling, geophysical surveys, geochemical sampling and geological mapping; and the Zulema property. The Company’s services and activities principally include mineral-claim management; target generation; geological mapping and sampling; airborne magnetic and gamma surveys; induced-polarization, ZTEM and ambient-noise-tomography geophysics; data integration; and diamond, reverse-circulation and other exploration drilling. Chilean Metals was formed through a February 2025 plan of arrangement spin-out from Power Nickel Inc., now Power Metallic Mines Inc., which acquired for the Company a 100% legal and beneficial interest in Golden Ivan; Power Metallic retains an approximately 50% ownership interest. In February 2026, Chilean Metals commenced trading on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol CMCG, representing a strategic corporate transition intended to provide the standalone explorer with greater market visibility and access to exploration capital. Recent operational priorities include a planned approximately 4,000-metre, 10-target exploration program at Tierra de Oro, including the Chanchero, Elisa de Bordos, Goblin, San Juan South and Jaqui targets; continued evaluation of the Palo Negro IOCG target area; and mapping and surface-sampling activities at Golden Ivan. Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Chilean Metals operates through exploration activities in British Columbia and northern Chile and remains an exploration-stage company without commercial mining production.
