Business
EAU Lithium Limited is an Australia-based lithium development company focused on advancing sustainable direct lithium extraction (DLE) opportunities from brine resources in Bolivia’s Lithium Triangle. The Company’s principal activities comprise technology testing, process development, viability modelling, commercial negotiation and potential deployment of industrial-scale lithium extraction facilities for brines sourced from Salar de Coipasa in Oruro and Salar de Empexa and Salar de Pastos Grandes in Potosí, Bolivia. Its core offering is the application of the VULSORB®A-DLE sorption-based lithium extraction technology, licensed from Vulcan Energie Ressourcen GmbH, a German subsidiary of Vulcan Energy Resources Ltd, to recover lithium from Bolivian salar brines; associated technical evaluation, laboratory and pilot-scale testing; engineering and commercial-development support; and prospective lithium-processing plant implementation, subject to negotiation, regulatory approvals and applicable agreements. The Company serves Bolivia’s state lithium sector and prospective battery-materials supply chain customers through its relationship with Yacimientos de Litio Bolivianos (YLB), Bolivia’s state-owned lithium company. EAU Lithium operates through its Bolivian lithium business and maintains strategic technology and commercial relationships in Australia, Bolivia and Germany. The business was established in Bolivia in 2021 as part of the EAU Mining group and is headquartered in Subiaco, Western Australia. EAU Lithium is a strategic technology partner of Vulcan Energy Resources, which has a strategic shareholding in EAU Lithium and provides access to VULSORB®A-DLE technology and related engineering support. EAU Lithium does not hold mineral tenure or rights to acquire mineral tenure in Bolivia; its activities are conducted through technology-testing and negotiation arrangements with YLB. In February 2026, EAU Lithium executed a Negotiation Agreement with YLB following successful technical demonstration work on brine samples from the Coipasa, Empexa and Pastos Grandes salars. The agreement establishes a framework for formal discussions toward a potential future contract for industrial-plant implementation using VULSORB®A-DLE technology, but does not constitute a production agreement, resource right, land right or authorization to commence operations. In May 2026, Cosmos Exploration Limited completed its acquisition of 100% of EAU Lithium Pty Ltd, issuing 108,466,586 consideration shares and paying A$525,000 in cash; EAU Lithium continues as the controlling entity for the group’s Bolivian operations, retaining its management team, strategic relationships and commercial arrangements. Following the transaction, EAU Lithium directors James Durrant and Todd Romaine joined the Cosmos board, with Durrant appointed chairman, and members of the EAU Lithium finance and corporate-secretarial team assumed joint company-secretary roles. In September 2026, Cosmos Exploration Limited changed its name to EAU Lithium Limited and commenced trading on the Australian Securities Exchange under the EAU ticker, replacing the former C1X code.
