Business
Copper Standard Resources Inc. is a Canadian mineral exploration and development company primarily engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and advancement of copper, gold, and associated precious and base metal resource properties in the Americas. The company focuses on identifying highly prospective mineral districts, executing technical field exploration programs, and expanding mineralized asset inventories. Its core operations and exploration offerings encompass mineral exploration and asset evaluation; geological mapping and structural analysis; surface geochemical rock and soil sampling; ground and airborne geophysical surveys; exploratory diamond core drilling; drill core logging and geochemical assay analysis; mineral resource modeling and target definition; and mineral title staking, concession management, and regulatory permitting. Copper Standard Resources Inc. manages a diversified exploration portfolio located in Peru, comprising the Pacaska project, a 7,650-hectare high-sulfidation epithermal gold and porphyry copper target; the Capricho project, a 3,768-hectare copper porphyry project with supergene enrichment mineralization; the Paco Orco project, a 4,400-hectare polymetallic carbonate replacement target prospective for silver, lead, and zinc; and the El Ferrol concession claim. In recent developments, Copper Standard Resources Inc. completed the acquisition and business combination with Pucara Gold Ltd. in November 2024 through a court-approved plan of arrangement, expanding its exploration footprint in Peru by over 17,000 hectares. This transaction followed the company's corporate rebranding and corporate name change from Level 14 Ventures Ltd. to Copper Standard Resources Inc. in December 2023, along with a ticker symbol transition to CSR on the Canadian Securities Exchange. In July 2024, the company appointed Matt Fargey as Chief Executive Officer to lead its mineral exploration and corporate growth strategies, and subsequently refined its concession holdings in 2025 to prioritize high-impact copper-gold assets. Copper Standard Resources Inc. was incorporated in 2018 and is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
