(NYSE American: UUUU) is a leading U.S.-based critical minerals company that produces and sells uranium concentrates (U3O8) for nuclear energy utilities; rare earth oxides including neodymium-praseodymium (NdPr), dysprosium (Dy), and terbium (Tb) oxides; vanadium pentoxide (V2O5); heavy mineral sands products such as ilmenite, rutile, zircon, and monazite; and evaluates medical isotopes like radium-226 and radium-228. The company operates the White Mesa Mill in Utah, the only fully licensed conventional uranium mill in the United States, along with mines including Pinyon Plain, La Sal, and Pandora; it also advances heavy mineral sands projects such as the Toliara Project in Madagascar, the Donald Project joint venture in Australia, and the Bahia Project in Brazil. Energy Fuels Inc. conducts exploration, recovery, recycling, development, and sales of uranium and other mineral properties primarily in the United States, with global heavy mineral sands assets targeting nuclear utilities, technology manufacturers, steel producers, and defense sectors. Founded in 1987 and headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado, the company changed its name from Volcanic Metals Exploration Inc. in 2006 and leverages over 45 years of uranium expertise across its U.S.-centric supply chain. Recent developments include the October 2025 closing of a $700 million 0.75% convertible senior notes offering due 2031, boosting working capital to nearly $1 billion; an August 2025 memorandum of understanding with Vulcan Elements to supply high-purity light and heavy rare earth oxides for U.S. rare earth permanent magnets; successful pilot production of 29 kilograms of 99.9% purity Dy oxide through September 2025 with Tb oxide targeted for December 2025; qualification of Mill-produced NdPr oxide for EV drive unit motors by a major South Korean manufacturer in September 2025; a conditional letter of support from Export Finance Australia for up to A$80 million in debt financing for the Donald Project in October 2025; and a historic agreement with the Navajo Nation for uranium ore transport resuming in February 2025, alongside support for abandoned mine cleanups.
