- BPPL Holdings PLC is a Sri Lanka-based manufacturer and exporter specializing in professional and household cleaning tools, synthetic monofilaments, and recycled polyester yarn. Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Colombo, Sri Lanka, the company operates as a vertically integrated circular economy manufacturer primarily through its wholly owned subsidiaries, Beira Brush (Private) Limited and Eco Spindles (Private) Limited. BPPL Holdings serves industrial, commercial, and consumer end markets globally, exporting products to the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, India, Bangladesh, and countries across Europe and the Middle East.
The company operates across three primary business divisions: Brushware, Monofilaments, and Yarn. Its product and service portfolio comprises household, commercial, and industrial cleaning tools, including push brooms, street brooms, scrub brushes, hand brushes, deck scrubbers, banister brushes, dustpans, mops, squeegees, and dusters; consumer cleaning goods distributed domestically under the Tip Top brand; custom-turned wooden brush blocks, backs, and handles produced from sustainably sourced timber; synthetic monofilaments extruded from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and virgin polymers for global brush producers; hot-washed recycled PET flakes generated through extensive post-consumer collection networks; and recycled draw textured yarn (DTY) and fully drawn yarn (FDY) manufactured directly from PET bottle flakes and textile waste for international apparel, activewear, and fabric mills.
In recent developments, BPPL Holdings has executed strategic transactions and circular capacity expansions to enhance operational scale and market reach. In July 2026, its subsidiary Beira Brush (Private) Limited entered into a Business Transfer Agreement to acquire the customer portfolio, trademarks, and intellectual property of Ravi Industries Limited for a minimum consideration of LKR 300 million over five years, consolidating the group's market position in industrial brushware across Europe and the Middle East. In November 2025, Eco Spindles launched the VERRA-certified Green Wheels project in partnership with Green Earth Group N.V., introducing a dedicated fleet of electric cargo bikes to boost community PET collection toward an annual target of 6,500 metric tons. Concurrently, the group has expanded commercial output at its polyester yarn spinning facility in the Horana Export Processing Zone and advanced fabric waste upcycling processes to supply eco-friendly recycled yarn to global fashion and sportswear brands.
