Dell Technologies Inc. designs, develops, manufactures, markets, sells and supports a broad range of information technology products and services worldwide, operating primarily through its Client Solutions Group, which offers desktops, notebooks, workstations, tablets, monitors, projectors, printers and peripherals; and Infrastructure Solutions Group, encompassing servers, storage solutions including PowerScale and ObjectScale, networking products such as PowerSwitch, converged infrastructure and data platform technologies; as well as professional services for multi-cloud management, security, AI-enabled infrastructure and Dell Apex as-a-service offerings. The company, founded in 1984 and headquartered in Round Rock, Texas, serves enterprise, government, healthcare and consumer markets across the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific regions. In recent developments, Dell Technologies launched its 2025 Partner Program to accelerate growth in AI networking with a 3X multiplier incentive on PowerSwitch Z-series and enhanced Data Science & AI competencies; expanded its AI Data Platform through partnerships with Nvidia for GB200/GB300 integration, Elastic for data search engines and Starburst for analytics; introduced software-defined PowerScale, ObjectScale AI-Optimized Search and PowerSwitch Z9964F-ON switches for enterprise AI; partnered with Firebird Inc. and Nvidia on a $500 million AI supercomputing initiative in Armenia; and completed divestitures including SecureWorks to Sophos in 2024 while pursuing targeted software acquisitions like Cloudify and Moogsoft in 2023 to bolster multicloud and AIOps capabilities.
