DiamondRock Hospitality Company (NYSE: DRH; DRH-PA), a self-advised real estate investment trust founded in 2004 and headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland, acquires, owns, renovates and asset manages a portfolio of 36 premium hotels and resorts with approximately 9,600 rooms concentrated in top U.S. gateway markets and leisure destinations including Sedona AZ, Lake Tahoe CA, Key West FL, Charleston SC and New York NY; properties operate under leading brands such as Marriott (including JW Marriott, Courtyard, Autograph Collection, Renaissance), Hilton (including Hilton Garden Inn, Embassy Suites), Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, InterContinental Hotel Group, and independent boutiques, with services encompassing upscale and luxury room accommodations, food and beverage outlets, spas, event spaces and beachfront resorts managed by third-party operators like Aimbridge Hospitality, HEI Hotels & Resorts, Evolution Hospitality, Sage Hospitality and EOS Hospitality. The company targets leisure and business travelers in high-barrier-to-entry urban and resort locations across 16 states, generating revenues from hotel operations while focusing on capital allocation for shareholder returns through dividends and appreciation. Recent developments include the 2024 acquisition of the 245-room AC Hotel Minneapolis Downtown for $30 million, the sale of the 410-room Westin Washington D.C.
