Energy Resources of Australia Ltd (ASX:ERA) is an Australia-based uranium mining and rehabilitation company focused on the site rehabilitation of the former Ranger Project Area uranium mine in the Northern Territory. The company, founded in 1980 and headquartered in Darwin, Australia, previously engaged in the extraction, processing and export of uranium oxide from the Ranger mine, which ceased operations in January 2021; it now concentrates on comprehensive rehabilitation activities including pit backfilling, tailings storage facility management, revegetation, civil and structural works, mechanical installations, piping, electrical systems and consultancy services for the 79-square-kilometer Ranger Project Area located eight kilometers east of Jabiru and surrounded by Kakadu National Park.
