- Ismailia Misr Poultry Company S.A.E. is an Egypt-based agribusiness and food production enterprise primarily engaged in integrated poultry farming, animal feed manufacturing, food processing, and cold-chain logistics. Established in 1977 and headquartered in Ismailia, Egypt, the company operates across the entire poultry value chain, serving commercial poultry breeders, food processors, retail grocers, hospitality operators, and institutional food service clients across Egypt. Ismailia Misr Poultry operates as a subsidiary of Al Ismaelia for Real Estate Investment S.A.E. and maintains majority ownership in operating subsidiaries, including Q for Food Industries S.A.E.
The company organizes its operations across multiple agricultural, manufacturing, and logistical segments. Its primary product and service offerings comprise: poultry breeding and genetics, including the rearing of poultry grand-parent and broiler parent stock, table egg parent stock, and the commercial hatching of day-old broiler and layer chicks; poultry rearing and commercial farming, producing live broiler chickens for commercial slaughter; animal and aquaculture feed milling, manufacturing a comprehensive range of balanced poultry feed, livestock feed concentrates, and fish feed; poultry processing and slaughterhouse operations, producing fresh, chilled, and frozen whole dressed chickens, cut-up poultry portions, processed poultry meat derivatives, animal protein meals, poultry fats and oils, and organic agricultural fertilizers; logistics and storage infrastructure, offering temperature-controlled warehousing, cold-storage facilities, refrigerated transportation fleets, dry port operations, and logistics center management; and agricultural land development, encompassing the reclamation, management, and cultivation of desert and arable land.
In recent years, Ismailia Misr Poultry has executed strategic operational changes to optimize asset utilization, improve cost efficiencies, and drive financial turnaround. The company has transitioned key production assets—including designated poultry farms, automated slaughterhouses, and feed manufacturing lines—into long-term lease and operating agreements with prominent Egyptian poultry operators, such as El Banna Group and Misr Poultry, generating steady recurring rental revenue and stabilizing operational cash flows. Additionally, the company completed legal and real estate asset reorganizations involving land transfers to its affiliated spin-off entity, New Ismailia for Urban Development, and secured shareholder approval through its Extraordinary General Assembly to ensure corporate continuity and strengthen its balance sheet. Ismailia Misr Poultry continues to focus on enhancing the productivity of its core biological assets while leveraging its strategic real estate, industrial milling, and cold-chain logistics facilities in the Suez Canal and Ismailia regions.
