- Electric Metals (USA) Limited is a Canadian-incorporated, U.S.-focused mineral exploration and development company that acquires, explores and advances critical-minerals and precious-metals properties, with a primary focus on manganese for electric-vehicle, defense, technology and industrial markets. The Company’s principal asset is the 100%-owned Emily Manganese Project, also referred to in recent development initiatives as the North Star Manganese Project, in Crow Wing County, Minnesota. The project hosts manganese-enriched banded iron mineralization and is being evaluated as a potential North American source of high-purity manganese chemical and metal products, including high-purity manganese sulfate monohydrate (HPMSM) and electrolytic manganese metal (EMM). Its resource base also contains iron, and its development work encompasses resource upgrading; metallurgical testing; ore sorting; process-flow-sheet development; engineering and economic studies; and assessment of downstream processing facilities. The Company also owns Nevada silver assets in Nye County, Nevada, including the Corcoran Canyon silver-gold project and the Belmont Silver Project, which target low-sulphidation epithermal silver and gold mineralization; in March 2026, it entered into agreements to sell these non-core Nevada silver assets as part of its strategic concentration on its Minnesota manganese business. Electric Metals serves prospective battery-materials, electrification, specialty-chemical, manufacturing, defense and technology supply chains in the United States and North America. Incorporated on March 1, 2018, the Company was formerly known as Nevada Silver Corporation and adopted the Electric Metals (USA) Limited name in May 2023. It maintains a Canadian corporate presence in Toronto, Ontario, and is reported to be headquartered in Wilmington, Delaware. Recent strategic developments include the commencement of a preliminary economic assessment for downstream HPMSM and EMM processing facilities; ore-sorting work indicating potential to more than double manganese feed grade while recovering 92% of contained manganese; the August 2026 launch of an integrated, multi-workstream optimization program intended to strengthen the economics of the estimated US$1.39 billion North Star Manganese Project; a coordinated North American investor-relations and capital-markets program; and the change of its OTCQB trading symbol to EMUS following its U.S. redomicile, while retaining its TSX Venture Exchange listing under EML.
