Business
Roth Mions SA, operating commercially under the brand name RotH2, is a France-based engineering and manufacturing company specializing in the design, development, and production of high-pressure and ultra-high-pressure gas containment vessels, fluid storage systems, and hydropneumatic components. Tracing its industrial origins to 1912 and operating from its specialized industrial manufacturing facility established in 1975 in Mions, France, the company provides fluid power and gas containment technologies to international clients across the hydrogen energy, aerospace, defense, industrial gases, oil and gas, marine, and mobility sectors. Roth Mions SA structures its operations around three principal product segments: Accumulators and Reservoirs, which encompasses hydropneumatic and hydraulic accumulator shells, piston accumulators, high-pressure industrial gas cylinders, and certified diving and breathing apparatus tanks; Tanks and Industrial Cisterns, comprising seamless steel pressure vessels, fluid storage tanks for corrosive chemicals, and high-pressure fluid reservoirs engineered for energy and heavy process industries; and Hydrogen Storage Solutions, comprising modular high-pressure hydrogen storage racks, tube trailer systems, and high-pressure buffer storage vessels for hydrogen refueling stations (HRS) engineered to withstand operating pressures of up to 1,000 bar. In recent company developments, Roth Mions has undergone a major strategic transformation to focus on green mobility and hydrogen infrastructure, rebranding as RotH2 following its acquisition by the Marsac family. In December 2025, the company completed a 6.6 million euro capital increase to accelerate research and development programs, notably the development of next-generation Type V linerless composite storage tanks for ultra-high-pressure gas applications. In June 2026, Roth Mions SA marked a major financial milestone by listing its shares on the Euronext Access+ Paris market under the ticker symbol MLROT to support its production capacity scale-up and international commercial expansion, which includes new high-pressure rack supply contracts across European and African markets.
