Business
Earthworks Entertainment, Inc. (EWKS) operates as a development-stage company focused on the creation, co-production, marketing, and distribution of children's and family-oriented entertainment properties across multiplatform channels including television, home video, merchandise licensing, electronic and video games, and book and music publishing. The company holds marketing rights to nine key properties: Z-Force, an action adventure series; Nine Dog Christmas, a music-driven holiday special; Big Dogs, a character brand with big attitude appeal; Little Suzy’s Zoo, a preschool and baby character brand; Corneil & Bernie, an animated series; The Plonsters, a clay animation television series; The Little Reindeer, an animated Christmas special; 64 Zoo Lane, an animated children's series; and Kiddo the Super Truck, a theatrical-quality computer-animated property. It pursues cooperative marketing through teaming agreements with external partners and targets families worldwide, primarily in the United States. Founded in 1986 and headquartered at 16801 Addison Road, Addison, Texas, the company employs a small team of three, led by CEO Steven E. Humphries, President Peter Keefe, CFO David Lawrence Wange, and VP of Business Development James Reach. No major recent partnerships, funding rounds, acquisitions, product launches, or strategic shifts are reported in the last one to two years, reflecting its ongoing development-stage status with limited operational activity.
