Fanuc Corporation FANUC Corporation (FANUY) manufactures and sells factory automation equipment, industrial robots, and machine tools worldwide. The company operates through three main business units: FA, which produces numerical controls (NCs), servomotors, lasers, and related systems including the FANUC Series 30i/31i/32i CNC controllers; ROBOT, which offers a broad range of industrial robots such as handling models (LR Mate, M-10iD, M-20iB), collaborative robots (CR and CRX series), palletizing robots, SCARA robots (SR series), arc welding robots, and high-payload models up to 2,300 kg; and ROBOMACHINE, which includes ROBODRILL compact machining centers, ROBOSHOT electric injection molding machines, and ROBOCUT wire electrical discharge machines. FANUC products serve industries including automotive, electronics, aerospace, medical devices, and general manufacturing, with operations spanning over 100 countries through subsidiaries like FANUC America Corporation and FANUC Europe Corporation S.A., and more than 260 service locations providing lifetime support under its Service First philosophy. Founded in 1972 as an independent entity from Fujitsu's numerical control division (with roots tracing to 1956), the company maintains headquarters in Oshino-mura, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan, at the foot of Mount Fuji on a 1.78 million square meter campus.
