- Founders Metals Inc. (TSX-V: FDR, OTCQX: FDMIF) is a Canadian-based mineral exploration company focused on advancing its flagship Antino Gold Project in southeastern Suriname, South America, within the prolific Guiana Shield; the project spans 56,000 hectares following recent expansions and features multiple high-grade gold targets including Upper Antino, Buese, Lower Antino, Van Gogh, Da Vinci, Froyo, Donut, Maria Geralda, and emerging zones, supported by extensive drilling programs exceeding 60,000 metres in 2025, airborne geophysics, auger sampling, metallurgical testing with up to 96% gold recovery, and historical production of over 500,000 ounces from surface and alluvial mining. The company conducts systematic exploration activities encompassing diamond drilling for high-grade shear-hosted and bulk-tonnage mineralization, soil geochemical surveys, LiDAR and aeromagnetic data integration, IP surveys, and resource delineation across a district-scale land package with shear zone and intrusion-related orogenic gold systems. Founders Metals targets institutional investors and strategic partners in the gold mining sector, operating primarily in Suriname with headquarters in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, founded in 2021. Recent developments include the November 2025 completion of a 36,000-hectare acquisition for USD 5.0 million cash plus milestone payments, expanding Upper Antino mineralization to 2.5 kilometres; closure of a USD 50 million strategic investment by Gold Fields Limited, granting board nomination rights above 12.5% ownership and technical collaboration; a February 2025 C$32.5 million bought deal financing led by BMO Capital Markets to fund accelerated drilling; multiple new discoveries such as 22.5 metres of 11.88 g/t gold at Maria Geralda and extensions at Buese over 1,000 metres; and board appointments including Vijay Kirpalani in November 2025.
