Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. is a worldwide provider of financial technology solutions for merchants, financial institutions, and capital markets entities. The company organizes its comprehensive offerings into distinct business areas: Merchant Solutions, Banking Solutions, and Capital Market Solutions. The Merchant Solutions division delivers advanced enterprise acquiring services, software-driven solutions for small to medium-sized businesses, and robust global e-commerce platforms. While a majority stake in its Worldpay merchant business was divested in early 2024, FIS maintains strategic commercial alliances and a joint market partnership within this space. The Banking Solutions segment offers essential core processing and associated applications, digital innovations spanning internet, mobile, and e-banking, comprehensive fraud prevention and risk management tools, regulatory compliance assistance, electronic funds transfer and network capabilities, a suite of card and retail payment options, wealth and retirement planning tools, and critical item processing and output services. Recent advancements include new cloud-based asset finance solutions. The Capital Market Solutions segment provides sophisticated securities processing and financial services, global trading support, asset management and insurance technology, and corporate liquidity management solutions. Established in 1968, Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. maintains its corporate headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida.
