Fincantieri S.p.A. (Ticker: FNCNF) is an Italian shipbuilding company headquartered in Trieste and founded in 1959 as a state financial holding that became an operating entity in 1984, specializing in the design, construction and conversion of complex high-technology vessels across cruise ships, naval vessels, ferries, mega yachts, offshore platforms and specialized vessels; it also provides systems and components including marine systems, diesel engines, naval automation, integrated systems, cabins, steel structures and after-sales services such as repairs, refits, training and logistic support, operating through 18 shipyards on four continents with over 20,000 employees worldwide and subsidiaries like Vard Group, Marine Interiors, Fincantieri Marine Group, Wass Submarine Systems and Naviris. The company serves cruise operators like Princess Cruises, Cunard Line and TUI Cruises; navies including the Italian Navy and U.S. Navy; offshore oil & gas and wind farm sectors; and mega yacht clients, with recent deliveries encompassing the Sun Princess (178,000 GT), MV Viking Vela (53,700 GT), Queen Anne (113,000 GT) and Explora II (63,000 GT) in 2024 alongside upcoming vessels like Mein Schiff Relax in 2025.
