Operating as a prominent financial institution in the country, the group provides individuals, businesses, and government entities with a wide array of products. Offerings encompass transactional and savings accounts, various credit products like personal, payroll, automotive, and mortgage loans, alongside a selection of credit cards. It further extends into investment services, including mutual funds and brokerage, as well as an extensive range of insurance and pension products, such as life, home, auto, and health coverage, and retirement fund administration. The group also facilitates foreign exchange, leasing, factoring, and warehousing solutions. Emphasizing digital innovation, Banorte actively develops advanced online and mobile banking platforms, recently launching Bineo, the first entirely digital bank in Mexico. This focus on digital capabilities, hyper-personalization, and an omnichannel experience has earned it recognition as a leading digital bank in Mexico and Latin America. The institution maintains a substantial physical presence through its network, which included 1,205 branches, 11,650 ATMs, and 228,826 point-of-sale terminals as of September 2025. Founded in 1899, Grupo Financiero Banorte is headquartered in Monterrey and Mexico City, Mexico, and remains the sole major financial institution in the country under local ownership.
