Gold Resource Corporation (NYSE American: GORO), founded in 1998 and headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is a gold and silver producer, developer and explorer focused on precious and base metals mining. The company produces gold and silver doré bars alongside copper, lead and zinc concentrates containing gold and silver from its flagship Don David Gold Mine, which encompasses the producing Arista underground polymetallic deposit and Mirador Mine within the Aguila Project on the Alta Gracia property in Oaxaca, Mexico; it holds 100% interest in six properties covering approximately 55,119 hectares across the Oaxaca Mining Unit and four additional exploration-stage properties within trucking distance of the central processing facility. Operations extend to the United States through the wholly owned Back Forty Project, a 1,304-hectare polymetallic deposit in Menominee County, Michigan, expected to yield similar doré and concentrate products upon development; the company targets low-cost operations and high returns on capital across its Americas-focused portfolio serving global metals markets including investors, industrial users and refiners. Recent developments include a September 2025 registered direct offering raising approximately $11.4 million to eliminate outstanding debt from a prior loan, enhance financial flexibility and fund working capital needs such as Three Sisters vein system advancement at Don David and Back Forty feasibility and permitting progress; earlier in 2025, it completed a $2.5 million registered direct offering in January, sold its Green Light Metals interest for $0.9 million in February, raised $5.6 million net via an at-the-market program in Q2 and engaged Cominvi Servicios as an underground mining contractor while ordering equipment including a third dry stack filter press to boost throughput toward 1,500 tonnes per day by early 2026. In December 2025, the company reported strong initial production results from high-grade Three Sisters areas at Don David, underscoring operational execution amid plans for cash flow positivity by late 2025.
