Agroliga Group PLC is a vertically integrated agro-industrial holding company engaged in agricultural production, grain cultivation, oilseed processing, dairy farming, grain storage logistics, agricultural commodity trading, and renewable energy generation. Founded in 1992 and headquartered in Nicosia, Cyprus, with primary agricultural and industrial operations located in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, the company manages an integrated production cycle through subsidiaries including Agroliga LLC, Agrokom Novaya Vodolaga LLC, Mechnikovo LLC, VostokAgroKontrakt LLC, Mayak LLC, Trading House Liga Trade LLC, and AGL Energy LTD. Agroliga Group PLC operates across five core business segments: Crop Production, Oil Extraction and Processing, Livestock and Dairy Farming, Elevator and Storage Logistics, and Renewable Energy. The company manufactures, sells, and provides a wide range of agricultural products and services comprising: grain and oilseed cultivation, including winter wheat, spring barley, sunflower seeds, corn, rapeseed, and buckwheat; vegetable oil processing, consisting of crude unrefined sunflower oil, high-protein sunflower meal for animal feed, and processed agricultural by-products; dairy and meat products, including Grade-A raw cow milk and beef cattle; grain elevator and logistics services, providing certified grain reception, laboratory quality analysis, drying, cleaning, long-term silo storage, and freight transshipment; commercial agricultural distribution, facilitating domestic wholesale and international export trading of grains and oil products; and bio-energy generation, producing and supplying electricity to the grid through sunflower seed husk-fired biomass thermal power facilities under feed-in tariffs. In recent operational and strategic developments, Agroliga Group PLC has optimized and modernized its oil extraction facilities to enable multi-crop processing flexibility across sunflower seed, rapeseed, and soybean inputs; expanded its captive biomass cogeneration capabilities to ensure uninterrupted energy self-sufficiency and operational continuity; restructured export trade routes and logistics channels toward European Union markets to overcome regional trade disruptions; and realigned crop rotation strategies to prioritize high-yield, drought-resilient crops to enhance operating margins and supply chain resilience.
