Business
QNA Technology S.A. is a nanotechnology and advanced semiconductor materials company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes heavy metal-free colloidal quantum dots and specialized semiconductor inks primarily for next-generation display and optoelectronic applications. Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Wrocław, Poland, the company specializes in synthesizing environmentally compliant, cadmium-free and lead-free nanomaterials tailored to solve the blue-emitter efficiency bottleneck in the display industry. QNA Technology S.A. offers a specialized portfolio of nanomaterial products and engineering solutions, which include PureBlue.dots, proprietary heavy metal-free colloidal quantum dots engineered with an emission wavelength of 455 nm for electroluminescent (QD-EL/QDEL) displays and light conversion layers; DeepBlue.dots, specialized high-energy nanomaterials emitting at 440 nm for optoelectronics, security authentication markers, and medical photostimulation; QNA.inks, semiconductor-grade formulations encompassing UV-curable PureBlue.inks designed for high-precision inkjet printing in UV microLED displays and printed electronics; custom surface engineering and ligand exchange services to suspend quantum dots in diverse polar solvents, non-polar solvents, and monomer matrices for industrial processing; and contract research, development, and nanomaterial characterization services for custom optoelectronic integration. The company primarily targets global consumer electronics manufacturers, flat panel display producers, lighting developers, and photonics enterprises across Europe, Asia, and North America. In recent developments, QNA Technology S.A. commissioned its Experimental Pilot Line to scale production capacity to industrial volumes for display-panel validation, advanced its public listing on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, secured over 3 million euros in equity financing to support commercial-scale manufacturing, and initiated commercial sample deliveries alongside collaborative validation projects with leading international display manufacturers for microLED and QD-EL technologies.
