Recent developments include a November 2025 strategic investment of $60 million in Vay Technology for remote driving capabilities, with potential follow-on funding up to $350 million to support autonomous mobility synergies; partnerships with May Mobility and WeRide for autonomous vehicle deployments, including AV testing approvals in Singapore's Punggol district; acquisitions of stakes in Cambodian app Nham24, Malaysian supermarkets Everrise and Jaya Grocer, and SME lender Validus Capital via GXS Bank; a June 2025 proposal to raise $1.25 billion in convertible notes for acquisitions and share repurchases under its ongoing program; and a 2025 street-hail taxi operator license from Singapore's Land Transport Authority, alongside securing a 10-year GrabCab license.
