Business
BetterLife Holding Limited (6909.HK) is a Cayman Islands-incorporated investment holding company principally engaged in automobile dealership services focused on luxury and ultra-luxury brands in the People's Republic of China. The company operates 4S dealership stores for brands including Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Bentley, Jaguar-Land Rover, Volvo and AITO; provides after-sales services comprising repair and maintenance, sales of accessories and automobile-related products, insurance agency and license plate registration services; and offers value-added services such as automobile financing, pre-owned automobile brokerage and advertisement services. Founded in 1998 and headquartered at No. 1 Donghuan North Road, Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area, Beijing, it conducts operations across provinces including Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shandong, Zhejiang, Fujian, Sichuan and Heilongjiang. In November 2024, the group entered a creditor's rights transfer agreement with Mengshang Bank for approximately RMB965 million to acquire pledged collateral assets including equity interests in Beijing Jiguang Real Estate Development and businesses related to Beijing Jiguang Xinghui Automobile Sales and Service, with the transaction substantially completed by mid-2025 through realization of properties and other assets. During 2024, it closed a Jaguar-Land Rover retail shop in Foshan, resulting in write-offs of related intangible assets and goodwill; in September 2025, a subsidiary entered a connected property lease agreement in Tianjin. The company maintains a network of approximately 17 to 20 4S stores and showrooms in key urban areas, serving high-net-worth customers with a butler-style service model supported by digital platforms for customer lifecycle management.
