PTI distributes its products through an extensive nationwide network of branch offices, bancassurance partnerships, agency channels, an extensive postal network via Vietnam Post Corporation, and digital sales platforms, including the iPTI mobile application.
In recent corporate developments, PTI has implemented strategic underwriting portfolio and operational restructurings aimed at strengthening corporate governance, optimizing risk selection, and improving capital efficiency. In early 2025, international rating agency AM Best revised PTI's credit rating outlook to stable, reflecting the company's corrective underwriting measures, enhanced risk management controls, and stabilizing operating performance. In March 2025, the corporation increased its charter capital to approximately VND 1.21 trillion to enhance its solvency position and support expansion under its 2025–2030 strategic plan. The company has also reconstituted its Board of Directors and Supervisory Board for the 2025–2030 tenure, while continuing to leverage strategic synergies with major institutional shareholders, including South Korea-based DB Insurance Co., Ltd. and VNDIRECT Securities Corporation, to accelerate digital transformation, refine combined operating ratios, and expand market share across the Vietnamese non-life insurance sector.
