An Giang Agriculture and Food Import - Export Joint Stock Company (AFIEX) is a Vietnam-based agricultural enterprise primarily engaged in the processing, manufacturing, distribution, and export of agricultural commodities, animal nutrition products, and aquaculture goods. Founded in 1990 and headquartered in Long Xuyen City, An Giang Province, Vietnam, the company operates across integrated agribusiness sectors including grain processing, animal and aquatic feed milling, livestock and aquaculture farming, agricultural trading, and property development. The company organizes its business into five principal operating segments: Rice Processing and Export, Animal and Aqua Feed, Farming and Breeding, Agricultural and Veterinary Trading, and Real Estate. Its comprehensive product and service portfolio includes: Rice Processing and Grain Export: milling, polishing, sorting, packaging, and exporting agricultural food products, featuring long-grain white rice with broken grain ratios of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 25%; aromatic Jasmine rice; fragrant rice; and glutinous sticky rice, backed by processing facilities with an annual capacity of approximately 300,000 metric tons; Animal and Aqua Feed Manufacturing: producing and distributing complete formulated feed and feed concentrates for livestock including pigs, piglets, breeding sows, and beef cattle; poultry feed for broilers, laying hens, ducks, and quails; and aquatic feed for Pangasius (tra/basa catfish), snakehead fish, and tilapia, supported by automated feed mill facilities with an annual capacity exceeding 100,000 metric tons, as well as the wholesale distribution of feed raw materials such as soybean meal, yellow corn, wheat bran, and fishmeal; Aquaculture, Livestock Farming, and Food Processing: operating commercial aquaculture farms covering more than 60 hectares dedicated to Pangasius catfish cultivation; breeding livestock and pedigree stock at Vinh Khanh Farm; and providing industrial slaughtering services, fresh meat processing, and cold storage logistics; Agricultural Trading and Support Services: wholesale trading of veterinary medicines, nutritional supplements, vaccines, and agricultural fertilizers, complemented by commercial freight handling, customs declaration, and bonded warehousing services; Real Estate Development: investing in and developing urban housing complexes, commercial centers, and residential land plots in An Giang Province, including the Tran Quang Khai, Vo So Than Bun My Thoi, Thoai Ngoc Hau, and Southern Chau Doc Commercial Center residential projects. AFIEX serves industrial feed millers, farming cooperatives, commercial livestock producers, institutional buyers, and retail consumers across Vietnam, while exporting certified agricultural products under ISO 9001 and HACCP standards to over 40 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. In recent operational and strategic developments, AFIEX has executed structural streamlining across its operating divisions, notably approving the operational cessation and consolidation of its Binh Duc Food Export branch to optimize operational expenditures and centralize export logistics. The company has also established strategic regional partnerships with agricultural cooperatives across the Mekong Delta to secure traceable raw material supply chains for high-grade export rice, upgraded its aquafeed milling lines with modern extrusion technology to launch high-protein feed formulations, and restructured its domestic distribution network to expand direct-to-farm supply channels amid evolving market conditions.
