- PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation, operating under the ticker HOSE:DPM, is a Vietnam-based enterprise primarily engaged in the manufacturing, processing, marketing, distribution, and international trading of agricultural fertilizers and specialty industrial chemicals. Founded in 2003 and headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, the corporation operates as a core subsidiary of the state-owned Vietnam National Industry - Energy Group (Petrovietnam). PVFCCo serves as the cornerstone of Vietnam's agricultural input supply chain, holding approximately 40 percent of the national domestic urea market share and serving farming communities, agricultural cooperatives, industrial manufacturers, and chemical processors across Vietnam and international markets.
The company organizes its commercial operations into two primary business divisions: Fertilizers and Chemicals. In the fertilizer segment, marketed primarily under the recognized Phu My brand, PVFCCo manufactures and distributes prilled and granular urea fertilizers; chemically synthesized nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium (NPK) compound fertilizers; diammonium phosphate (DAP); muriate of potash (MOP); ammonium sulfate (SA); and customized organo-mineral fertilizer blends tailored to regional soil compositions. In the chemicals segment, the company manufactures, refines, and trades anhydrous liquid ammonia (NH3); urea formaldehyde concentrate (UFC85); formalin; hydrogen peroxide (H2O2); liquid and gaseous carbon dioxide (CO2); and specialized drilling and production chemical additives used in the oil and gas exploration sector. Beyond manufacturing, PVFCCo provides agricultural advisory services, contract blending, bulk chemical handling, logistics and warehousing, and global commodity trading. The company's manufacturing activities are anchored at the Phu My Fertilizer Complex located in Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province, which features an annual production capacity of 800,000 metric tons of urea, 540,000 metric tons of ammonia, and 250,000 metric tons of NPK. In addition to its domestic distribution network across northern, central, south-western, and south-eastern Vietnam, the company exports fertilizers and chemical feedstocks to overseas markets throughout the Asia-Pacific region, including India, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asian nations.
In recent operational and strategic developments, PVFCCo completed a major capital restructuring that expanded its charter capital from VND 3.91 trillion to approximately VND 6.8 trillion, providing substantial capital reserves to fund strategic growth initiatives and chemical facility upgrades. The corporation is executing a long-term strategic shift to establish high-value industrial chemicals and green energy inputs as a second core pillar alongside its traditional fertilizer portfolio, advancing into specialized product lines such as ionized calcium powder and metal processing materials. Aligning with decarbonization and sustainable agriculture commitments, PVFCCo entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with The Green Solutions Group to build a green ammonia supply and offtake chain linked to the Tra Vinh green hydrogen and ammonia project, positioning the company to produce low-carbon fertilizers. Additionally, the corporation rolled out a comprehensive corporate rebranding under the identity Phú Mỹ – Sharing Prosperity and adopted its 2026–2030 strategic development blueprint, targeting diversified revenue growth, enhanced chemical manufacturing scale, circular economy integration, and expanded footprint in international export markets.
