Anywhere Real Estate Inc. provides integrated residential real estate services through its subsidiaries, including franchising, brokerage, relocation, title and settlement, and related offerings in the United States and internationally. The company operates via three primary segments: Anywhere Brands, Anywhere Advisors, and Anywhere Integrated Services; Anywhere Brands franchises leading brands such as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate, Century 21, Coldwell Banker, Coldwell Banker Commercial, Corcoran, ERA, and Sotheby's International Realty to approximately 18,000 offices and over 300,000 independent sales associates across 119 countries and territories; Anywhere Advisors owns and operates nearly 600 residential brokerage offices with about 53,000 agents in more than 50 of the 100 largest U.S. metropolitan areas, offering mortgage, title, insurance, escrow, warranty, relocation, and concierge services; Anywhere Integrated Services delivers title, escrow, and settlement support through over 40 companies in 43 states plus the District of Columbia, handling more than 120,000 transactions annually, alongside wholly-owned Anywhere Insurance Agency, mortgage joint venture Guaranteed Rate Affinity, relocation provider Cartus, and title insurance underwriting joint ventures; additional services include Upward Title & Closing joint ventures with franchisees covering over 30 U.S. markets and Leads Group for high-converting leads to affiliates. Founded in 2006 as a spin-off from Cendant Corporation and formerly known as Realogy until its rebranding in June 2022, Anywhere Real Estate Inc. maintains headquarters at 175 Park Avenue in Madison, New Jersey. In September 2025, Compass Inc. agreed to acquire the company in an all-stock transaction valuing Anywhere at approximately $1.6 billion with a combined enterprise value of $10 billion, expected to close in the second half of 2026 pending shareholder and regulatory approvals.
