PT Asuransi Ramayana Tbk operates as a general insurance company in Indonesia, providing a comprehensive range of conventional and sharia-compliant products including property, fire, motor vehicle, personal accident, heavy equipment, health, cargo, marine hull, aviation, engineering such as construction all risk, erection all risk, contractor plant and machinery, machinery breakdown, electronic equipment and civil engineering completed risk; surety and customs bond, money; liability covering general, public, professional, automobile, golfer indemnity, directors and officers, garage keeper and warehouse; as well as land, sea and air freight insurance. Through its subsidiary, the company also owns, manages and leases office buildings and housing accommodations. Founded in 1956 and headquartered in Jakarta, Indonesia, it maintains an extensive operational network with 33 branches, one unit and 15 representative offices across the country, serving individual and corporate clients in the automotive, real estate, industrial and other sectors. In recent developments, the company announced plans in October 2024 to separate its sharia business unit; launched a new travel insurance product following a market analysis and portfolio evaluation; continued expansion of branch offices to enhance consumer access and local employment; and executed a stock split in May 2024 in compliance with Financial Services Authority regulations.
