Business
Immuneering Corporation (IMRX) Immuneering Corporation, a clinical-stage oncology company, develops novel small molecule therapeutics targeting the RAS/RAF/MEK signaling pathway for patients with advanced solid tumors; its lead product candidate atebimetinib (IMM-1-104), an oral once-daily deep cyclic MEK inhibitor, advances through Phase 2a trials in pancreatic cancer, melanoma, and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), including monotherapy and planned combinations with chemotherapy, PD-1 inhibitors, BRAF inhibitors, and KRAS G12C inhibitors under clinical supply agreements with Eli Lilly and Regeneron; IMM-6-415, an oral twice-daily deep cyclic MEK inhibitor, progresses in Phase 1/2a trials for RAS- or RAF-mutant solid tumors; the company leverages its proprietary Disease Canceling Technology platform, integrating bioinformatics, machine learning, and human data, to design selective inhibitors that modulate signaling dynamics for improved tolerability across broad patient populations. Immuneering Corporation operates primarily in the United States from its headquarters at 245 Main Street, Second Floor, Cambridge, Massachusetts; founded in 2008 by computational biology experts including CEO Benjamin Zeskind alongside MIT researchers Forest White and Doug Lauffenburger, the firm shifted from bioinformatics services around 2015 to internal drug development following Series A funding in 2019 and its 2021 Nasdaq IPO that raised approximately $129 million. In September 2025, Immuneering Corporation completed a $175 million public offering of 18.96 million Class A shares at $9.23 per share, concurrent with a $25 million private placement to Sanofi purchasing 2.71 million shares at the same price, generating approximately $200 million in gross proceeds to fund preclinical and clinical programs through at least 2029 including a planned pivotal Phase 3 trial for atebimetinib; these transactions, underwritten by Leerink Partners and Oppenheimer & Co. with a 30-day overallotment option, followed a shelf registration effective in August 2025 and an August funding round of nearly $25 million from nine investors.
