The company offers banking and spending products including checking accounts, debit and credit cards, deposits, loans and advances such as real estate, payroll, corporate, rural, and SME credit, debt collection, foreign exchange, and global digital account solutions; investment services encompassing acquisition, sale and custody of securities, securities structuring and distribution, and fund portfolio management; insurance brokerage covering warranties, life, property, automobile insurance, pensions, and consortium products; and a digital marketplace for goods and services featuring top retailers from Brazil and the United States with shopping discounts and cashback rewards. Inter & Co serves over 40 million customers through its mobile application, targeting retail consumers, small and medium enterprises, and corporations in the banking, fintech, and e-commerce sectors. Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, with U.S. operations based in Miami, Florida, the company maintains primary geographic focus on Brazil and expanding presence in the United States. Recent developments include the May 2024 acquisition by subsidiary Banco Inter S.A. of the remaining 50% stake in Granito, a merchant acquirer serving over 100,000 Brazilian SMEs, to enhance payment processing, operational synergies, and cross-selling opportunities; the February 2025 acquisition of real estate investment startup YellowFi to expand alternative investment offerings; leadership changes in July 2024 with Alexandre Riccio appointed CEO of Inter&Co Brazil and João Vitor Menin transitioning to Global CEO; and reporting record net income of R$973 million for 2024, reflecting an ROE of 11.7% amid client growth to over 36 million.
