Jefferson Capital, Inc. (JCAP) is a specialty finance company that purchases and services portfolios of charged-off and bankruptcy consumer receivables at significant discounts to face value, while providing debt recovery solutions and related portfolio management services to creditors. The company offers consumer receivables encompassing credit card accounts; secured and unsecured automotive finance deficiencies, skips, and loans; telecommunications and utilities receivables; installment loans; and other nonperforming assets, serving clients such as Fortune 500 corporations, banks, fintech platforms, credit card issuers, and auto finance companies. It also delivers third-party debt servicing, proprietary data analytics for asset valuation and customized collections, and compliance-focused programs like Payment Rewards. Jefferson Capital, Inc. operates across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Latin America, with offices in Sartell and Minneapolis, Minnesota; Denver, Colorado; Basingstoke, Woking, and Glasgow in the UK; London and Toronto in Canada; and Bogota, Colombia. Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Sartell, Minnesota, the company went public via an initial public offering on Nasdaq in June 2025 following a March 2025 corporate reorganization, with majority backing from J.C. Flowers & Co. Recent developments include the October 2025 announcement of a $302.8 million Bluestem credit card portfolio acquisition with $488.2 million face value, expected to close in Q4 2025; an amendment and upsize of its senior secured revolving credit facility to $1 billion in October 2025; record Q3 2025 deployments of $151 million and collections growth of 63% to $236.8 million; and a quarterly dividend declaration of $0.24 per share.
