PSG Financial Services Limited (JSE:KST) is an independent financial services group that provides wealth management, asset management and insurance products to individuals, families, businesses and institutional investors primarily in South Africa and Namibia. The group operates through three core divisions; PSG Wealth delivers portfolio management, stockbroking, local and offshore investments, estate planning, financial planning, fiduciary services, multi-managed solutions, retirement products, employee benefits and online trading platforms; PSG Asset Management offers local unit trusts, international funds and institutional investment solutions based on a bottom-up risk-managed approach; and PSG Insure provides personal short-term insurance including home, car and household contents alongside commercial lines such as business and agricultural coverage sourced through partnerships with leading insurers. Founded on 14 July 1993 and headquartered at The Edge, 3 Howick Close, Tyger Waterfront, Bellville, South Africa, the company maintains over 250 offices across South Africa with a presence in Namibia and listings on the JSE, NSX and SEM exchanges. In August 2023, the company changed its name from PSG Konsult Limited to PSG Financial Services Limited to better reflect its expanded financial services scope; recent developments include a 28% rise in recurring headline earnings per share to August 2024 yielding a 26.2% return on equity, a share repurchase program cancelling 11.2 million shares for R181 million, increased equity exposure in shareholder investable assets to 9%, affirmation of A+(ZA) long-term and A1(ZA) short-term credit ratings with Positive Outlook by Global Credit Ratings in August 2024, and an ongoing focus on organic growth while evaluating strategic acquisitions with clear synergies.
